I've said this a few times recently but if you go back through threads in the r2d2 folder you will see that people struggled big time using magmatrooper.
His best feature is a tmr aoe but tmr the opposition is immune to tmr in tier vii of the event.
You can go magmatrooper if you want but plan on gear ix or x.
Would Palpatine (whose event has to be sometime soon) not be a much easier option.
