So I am aiming to be ready for the next R2D2 event. Looking to 7 star these characters: Darth Vader, TFP, Tarkin, EP, Stormtrooper.
But I am not sure I can get Darth Vader to 7 stars because of the extremely low shard did rate. Also, I only have Thrawn at 6 stars so I can't use him.
I thought about Magmatrooper but heard he is not good for R2 event.
Any suggestions?
Your best bet is Stormtrooper, since he is in cantina store every day, so it all comes down to how many cantina refreshs you use daily. He also has a few hard nodes on lower lvl's which will help you immensely. He will also be viable in Imperial Troopers team. Snowtrooper is nice and worth it, but he only has 1 hard node, he is irregular drop in guild store and has a cantina node, but you need to farm TFP there.
That was why I suggested Stormtrooper over RG and Snowtrooper in my guide.

Biggest problem is that it's in cantina. I'm still torn on how to implement him and FOSFTP into this guide. We are looking for the best outcome in the long run and farming KRU before Hero, Ezra and Lando is just not an option. So earliest you could farm him is after 60lvl. He is a good leader, but he really gets powerful after you zeta his skill and that is not before 80-82lvl. But I will monitor this situation and add him in time.
