Didn't address this part, but Empire will destroy Phoenix and Nightsisters once you've leveled and geared them. The Vader/EP rework just crushed Phoenix, and they can AOE Nightsisters into oblivion. You can also fracture the zombie with Thrawn, and assuming it doesn't kill the zombie, you can easily mow down their team with basics before the zombie does anything relevant.
Also, don't confuse transitioning to Empire with throwing away Phoenix. They'll still exist, and you can move your arena mods to them if a situation arises where they're a better fit than Empire.
