All things Palpatine (seeking working combos and advice read all comments)

People keep asking if Palpatine is worth it? Um yes that is why every 4th post in November practically was about when would he be back.

Too those asking for help, read all the comments here.

Advice is objective based on your team.

I recommend an AA lead

Attack Palpatine first and try to return to him over the royal guards.

First try the event, but if you need a boost...

Pull your best mods from your top 5 and place them on your 5 best rebels in reverse order. Best mods on weakest rebel and lowest of your best mods on strongest rebel.

Try different combos and player positions if all else fails.

AA lead, sthan, leia, wiggs. All at gear 8, lvl 82. Only lost sthan at the t7 battle.

Hey so I just wanted on the record Palpatine sweep for my sons and I. We just have to boost our troops to upgrade him in April or so when he is back.

@RancorPackGuild I can't even do Tier 6 with 7* team of AA, Lando, Wiggs, SRP - all G7, level 62. Palp is just too strong for my level.

Did you try throwing all your mods on. Best on your weakest character and lowest of best on strongest?

Definitely go AA lead and try many times killing Royal Guards first. My sons I had to attack many times with players in different positions just to clear a 5☆

The thing is just keep gearing and leveling all you can.

I won't clear the 7☆ Palpatine as I will be one character troop short of 7☆ actually 2 because I am not going to purchase the pack with 30 STH because I can't level up STH and AA at the same time and need both with 15 shards left to reach 70/100 on STH and level with bundle and 19/100 Left on AA

Just don't see gaining 15 STH and 80 AA in the remaining days. That shard pack is just too risky and pricey for me with a 'chance' of 2-10 AA

@RancorPackGuild - I've tried swapping the mods I have around but because I've been farming shards constantly, I've kinda neglected the mods. I've got 5 of each mod shape and they're all on the rebel team... Now I've maxed a squad, I'm going to start hitting mods... 5 days left - going to be tight!! :s

Can't quite beat it seems like you need wiggs or g9 rebels. Or luck and right mods at g8. I have g8 AA lando Luke Leia Biggs. Not best team but hope I get thru.leias g9

I just happened too come online before bed. That is awesome! I know you were pulling every resource from every direction. I know the feeling you get when you get a big win in this game. Congratulations.

Got EP 7* on the 2nd try. I focused first on Vader instead of Palp, big mistake. First, go out EP, RG should react so remove them and focus on EP then Vader.

Got him with Wedge gr 8 (L), Biggs gr 8, STHan gr 9, Lando gr 10 and Leia gr 9 all lvl 85.

I have him now lvl 65 gr 6 and tested it in a Rancor Raid phase 1 TIER VI, and he really surprised me. Therefore, I will put the next credits on him to level him up to 85 and gear him to 8 asap.
