I'm not sure how well Thrawn works, since I'm firmly against all rebels now, I didn't have the Pheonix squad to actually get him.

My Empire teams are as follows: EP in lead, Vader, RG, Snow/Tarkin (whichever is needed at the moment), and TFP...or...Veers in lead, Shore, Storm, Magma, and Snow.
I use DT every once in a while with my Imperial Trooper team, but only if I need to debuff the enemy squad.
I do NOT use DN on my Empire squads. I am firmly against mixing units.

Regardless, I love using an all Imperial Trooper squad. They hit hard, they hit often, and they clear battles in a hurry with minimal damage. Since they don't rely on debuffs for power, they can take out teams with defense or tenacity bonuses.

If you can zeta only one, I would do Vader. He has a great zeta for leadership. If you zeta him, and use Tarkin, and Magma, then you can reduce the number of enemy turns.

I highly recommend gearing up Snow. I have him at gear 9 or 10 I think, but he takes a helluva beating, and hits upwards of 20k damage.
TFP is a good one to use, if you have him, with a debuffing Empire team. Just mod him well, because he is a bit soft. If not for his evasion, he would drop way too quick.

I'd love to know how Thrawn is working though. He is my favorite non-force user in the SW universe, so I was bummed when I couldn't get him.

@LordVader31179 i already have zader, and thrawn is a must for the arena if u run Empire. Mine is 6* gear 11 and is really good at controlling the other team. I still can beat full gear 11 triple cleases at the top. But i did manage to finish 2nd yesteray in a Dec 15 shard. I was more wondering about putting a zeta on a unique to strengthen the team. Veers i have a long way to go but DT is gear 10 6*
