Already tired of EP meta

The thing is...ive seen poorly nodded rex squads since he was released. His lead is easy to use and take advantage of. You don't need 110+ speed on every toon when you gain tm on enemy crits

Yes but Rex with Rex, if your DN goes first then it becomes a clear advantage no?

Once a new meta has established itself as meta, it's boring. At first it's awesome, you can finally bench your old and boring team and wreak havoc on your leaderboard with your new and improved team! Even cmdr luke was awesome at first, but like all meta's it gets old real quick. Same fights over and over again.
i personally don't really care, 9 out of 10 days i'm just doing it for the crystals anyway.

Older shards are going rex. My top 20 is 8 rex (talzin, GK, thrawn, palp), 4 palp still barely hanging on, rest JTR and NS. Rex needs to be above225 speed.

This is all shard dependable. My very old shards top 30 (December 2015) is:

19 palp
6 Rey
3 talzin
2 Rex

I know everybody that hangs out near the top has Rex, because I've seen them use him in past metas. They're just choosing to not use him now

People (like myself) use Rex because he's a pretty consistent anti-meta. Running the meta is soooooooo boring :sleeping:

But running Rex all the time isn't?

I actually find a rotating meta kind of fun.

But I was running NS for the past 3 months.

I have Rex maxxed out, but who do you use in his squad? My node is old and loaded and running Rex I haven't been able to break the top 100, let alone a good spot.

I used to run CLS, Zolo, GK, and Thrawn. Right now I'm running Rex L, zWampa, MT, Thrawn, and GK.

Who would you use if you didnt have Wampa? I've some iN guys using Rex L, MT, Sion, DN, GK.

That squad you mentioned is solid.

Do y'all really think rex lead with 4 other S tier tppms is more fun than palp L? Man rex lead has been on arenas since 2016. You would think folks would be more tired of rex.

At least you don't get beaten by poorly modded mirror teams like with the EP meta

Rex vs Rex is like watching paint dry. If everyone ran rex on my shard I'm sure most would veer to another comp. Rex is usually anti meta.

Once everyone starts using same team...which happens everytime...it gets boring. I hate nothing more then fighting same mirror teams...over and over. Absolutely nothing interesting...other then just rng and who has better mods at this point.

I know some argue well arena is diverse as ever now....i argue...good....now make it 10x more diverse then current arena then maybe we can begin to enjoy it without bumping into same teams 8/10 times

I just enjoy using Wampa tbh. Although I've recently been doing a lot of Offensive battles with ROLO lead, I find her lead very effective against the EP meta, but her AI can't focus Sion down on defense easily enough so I don't leave in overnight. Once I get her geared up a bit more I might actually leave it overnight to see how it fares. Although I think it'll be really easily beaten by non-EP teams as a shardmate of mine who uses FO took the squad down extremely easily.

Seems legit. You can ride all the way to 1 with it? Seems like it would be hard to get sth taunt off with all the shock/fracture/sion dispel
