eventually, yes you’ll want to switch out from your rebels team but your empire team isn’t ready for arena yet. you need zetas & a tank before you can a Palp lead team

you might even want to put gear on a different rebel, maybe Ezra to add to the team instead of Boba.

Thanks, think I may switch to Ezra and maybe Leia or old Ben instead of han? Re. Empire I’m close to a zeta so will prob slap on palp and either gear up stormtrooper or my 4* Sion?

Fast Tarkin can be pretty nasty under EP lead. I think his cap is amazing and may arguably be the best ship, so its not wasted gear.

Ive been getting torched by a no-tank Sith team with Tarkin recently. In fact he beat me twice tonight and kept me out of top 50.

It depends on what you want. I personally enjoy running my FO team and I'm happy to sit between 100-200 and earn those rewards. If you HAVE to be in the top 100 or top 50, you'll be constantly chasing/joining the Meta and devoting a ton of resources to just a constantly changing arena trend.

Great advice folks thanks. Agree re. Tarkin, he’s my cap too and I’m investing in him regardless which is keeping me round about top 20 in ships. I like my rebels but do fancy giving another team a shot, also while I’m staying in top 200 now I’m worried I might get left behind, my arena shard is Nov 17 so not very mature yet and some teams around me e.g nightsisters, nihilistic/Sion I can’t even get close to beating cos of that damn zombie!

If switching to your empire toons under zEP lead (perhaps with Boba Fett as the 5th) you will have no problem against those NS teams with zombie. All that AoE and debuffs make them a pushover. Against other zEP team the fastest Vader has an advantage. Make your Vader as fast as possible. Another advantage of this team is, that while using it, you can develop Sion and Nihilus to transform it eventually. Also add Thrawn (disregarding wether you switch to empire or continue with rebels).

Love this forum. Thanks all. Think I’m going to make the empire switch and just focus on gearing them if I start dropping I can switch back and climb pretty quick again. My Phoenix are ready for thrawn when he comes around, and farming Sion and nihilus on hard nodes but that’s a long game. The meta will prob change by the time I get there but I can’t see it going back to rebels any time soon
