Asajj Ventress
Asajj used to seem not-terrible (December->Feb?), but she's horrible now for whatever reason - can she get some buffs or something? Problems: She's the slowest character ever. She's squishy. ...

Guys....
You can mod Ventress out. You can speed her up. I mean I have a 5* health mod that gives +30 speed. Her base speed is 86. So with a +30 speed that takes her to a speed of 116 with 1 mod. There are still 5 other slots to fill.
Filling her up with ONLY health mods, you can give her huge boosts in protection, health, attack, speed, potency, even critical avoidance.
Asajj has actually been weakened by the introduction of mods, not empowered. First off, mods apply to everyone - so while you're tricking out a speed-build Asajj up to a whopping 116 speed, my Qui Gon Jin has a speed build approaching 275, due to mods.
Secondly, as I mentioned, Asajj has zero synergy with any specific stat - speed, crit chance, crit damage, offense, potency, etc. So mods have weakened her specifically, because as example - Sidious loves Crit Chance, because it increases the likelihood of him applying 4 DoTs per target, stacking Crit Chance on Sidious doesn't just increase the number of crits he does, it increases the number of DoTs he applies: this is called a stat synergy.
Crit Chance = More Crits = More DoTs
Yoda and Rey both have Speed Synergies, this is because their basic attacks grant Deflection, so Speed doesn't just give them more turns = more damage, it also gives them more turns = more Deflection/Survivability.
Speed = More Turns = More Deflections
Asajj has nothing of the sort. Speed = more turns = more damage for her. Crit chance = more crits for her. Crit damage = bigger crits. All of her relationships are X = Y, but never X = Y = Z: no real stat synergies. So while Leia and Rey are gaining massive stat synergies out of mods, part of why they're **** ridiculous now, Asajj is only scaling relative to the direct stats she is gaining: while everyone else is multiplying gains through synergies.
So in short no, mods don't **** help Asajj - they made her worse.Jesus guys, even the Jedi Guardian can be extremely viable with mods. But Ventress and her ability to remove all positive status effects as well as stunning on her basic can make her 1st rate.
Guardian has innate survivability synergies with both hp and speed mods, due to her passive.
Ventress' stun is low proc chance, low potency, and unpredictable - it can't be relied on the way other stuns can (RG's 80% chance, an assortment of 100% chance abilities, or Daka's 60%+45% chances, which is a more than 100% chance that someone will be stunned, just not necessarily the one you wanted). By comparison, a 35% chance is entirely unreliable, and Asajj lacks the speed to abuse this by stunlocking anyone (Stuns have a synergy with Speed for this reason).
Her AOE debuff is the only thing she has going for her - I said that - and I proposed nerfing it slightly (the heal, anyways) to buff her kit in other ways. Just because she has one good thing, doesn't mean she's balanced: and nothing in this world short of a redesign will ever make Asajj (in her current state) 1st rate, sorry.
And I say that as someone who loves the character, but hates her portrayal in GoH - I just want her to not-suck: because the moment she's remotely viable I can go back to using her: even if she's not top-tier. The problem is right now she isn't even close... she's bottom-tier.
