Strategy and META in GAC change frequently, and as this is the primary source of in-game currency, I suggest simply remodeling your entire roster once “enough” has changed in GAC that it’s hurting your chance at victory.
Personally, I remod several teams every 3-4 months on average… this is about the amount of time it takes me to farm a new team to relic levels and farm enough new mods to make it worthwhile for remodding.
