My shard is relatively new, going for around 4 months. With the cls event, about 20 of the top 50 are set to get him. Unfortunately I wasn't prepared so I will have to wait till next time. I was wondering what the best counter to cls is bearing in mind how young my shard is? I want to stay competitive, hopefully staying within the top 20. Our shard was heavily wiggs based with a few people running phoenix, first order or nihilus leads. I currently run wiggs, chaze, r2. Do i stick with them or should I target specific toons? I'm currently switching focus to phoenix so I can get thrawn. I'm fairly close to raid han but my guild isn't running haat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

CLS has no direct counter. Thrawn can obviously shut him down. Wiggs burst damage does well, as does Raid Han with a zeta. I'd think in 4 months most would be ready for him. CLS is pretty easy to get if you have R2.

Yeah I'm miles away on her haha. I was also thinking zarris as you mentioned.

I missed out on 7 star Palpatine leaving me toon short for 7 star r2. Tbf I didn't join swgoh with cls in my mind as I knew nothing about the game. But yeah I'm just a little concerned that wiggs are so squishy, they will get destroyed by cls.

GK/Zariss is best and most reliable combo that comes to mind. You will want to avoid AOE attacks unless you have a taunt up, as CLS lead will have an army of rebels firing back at your attackers. Rex lead is always good as well if you don’t have gk yet, but zariss is good under any lead.
