A few things:
1. Nightsisters are horrible on defense. Any equivalent Imperial Troopers squad can take them out on auto just about. In lower gp guilds they may be ok because your opponents don’t have Troopers, but in any decent gp guild they are strictly an offensive team. We don’t even allow NS on defense in TW due to how poorly they perform. Conversely they are great on offense for taking out JTR and Bastila teams.
2. Those CLS teams with a ton of defense are usually because someone screws up and leaves a solo CLS alive, and then people throw mediocre teams against a solo CLS not realizing a solo CLS can take entire teams.
3. First Order are great defensively in TW because of the bonuses they get. We get a lot of FO teams with multiple defenses. Bounty Hunters are great defensively as well because of the bonuses and people don’t usually know what to play against them. Good FO and BH teams that is. Neither one performs well defensively in arena though.
4. At the moment there isn’t anything other than Traya that holds well defensively. There are too many counters. You basically just have to stick with the meta which is Traya, Bastila, and to a lesser degree, Nightmare though Nightmare is currently phasing out of the meta.
