Best Empire team

Right now Emperor Palpatine, Deathtrooper, Thrawn and Imperial Probe Droid make the core of a really good Empire team. Pick whatever 5th you want :) Shoretrooper is a great tank. Here's a helpful video if you want to see another good Empire team, https://youtu.be/zLpY7WyF4GA Basic strategy is to fracture someone with thrawn (like kenobi or a pretaunt) and then use palpatine's Let The Hate Flow so you can then use Self Destruct on the probe to kill someone like CLS, Barriss, GK or any high threat character they have. Then just go at 'em :)

If you don't have the probe droid you can most likely get him by spending $50 (buying the $10 pack and then crystals to buy the other packs) if you're up to that.

I was wondering if you would lost probe for nothing on defense against a taunting zombie. I am a bit lost between the "can't be revived" and "the revive can't be prevented".

For a mobile, erm, any game, it is too expansive to spent $50 for a SINGLE character. But thats my opinion ... :/
