I think my characters are just about good enough to do it, just...so I'm gonna need my very best mods on them.Sooo...best mods for each Phoenix character please! I don't have the link, but grandivory's mod manager page is outstanding, pretty much just follow his default stat weights.

Max potency on Zeb. All 6 mods. Kanan (or chopper) 190 speed. Everyone else protection secondaries.Taunt Kanan, Backup plan him. (Repeat). Stagger both Deathtroopers asap to remove deathly buff. You have 2 so easy. Zeb should get all assists and Spread dazes and stuns with Zeb. Kill DTs then others then Thrawn. Congrats!EDIT: I did it with full g8 team. What gear is your team? Speed secondaries help on others but not at expense of too much protection. Fast tank is key though.

Anyway, here is what I posted yesterday in another thread over there about beating this event:"Here are the notes that I took on beating the final tier of the Thrawn event back in January. Hopefully this is helpful for you:I attacked the Stormtrooper until I could clear his Taunt, then used Zeb’s first special on a Deathtrooper, then attacked the same Deathtrooper to remove all of his turn meter. Then Hera called an assist on Zeb against the other Deathtrooper, and then Ezra did the same, which stunned that one, and caused him to miss a turn.I used Kanan’s special ability to increase protection on the ally that needed it most, and didn’t use a Taunt on him or on Chopper until it was down to just Thrawn left. If you Taunt and let them focus on a single toon, they’ll kill your tank too quickly; this is one of those rare times where you want to let the enemy spread attacks around on your squad, so they all stay alive.Kill the Deathtroopers first, then the Commanders that Heal, and by then the Stormtrooper will have his Taunt back up again, so kill him, then get rid of Thrawn last.I ensured that I had Zeb at the highest Speed and Potency possible, as it is critical that he goes often and that he sticks his debuffs. My Zeb was at 182 speed (+67 from the best mods I had at the time back in January) and around 60% Potency. All of them were around +65 from their base speed, except for Kanan, who I modded with a Protection Arrow.I think it’s also critical that you Omega all of the Uniques.My Ezra was Gear 9, plus a few pieces, and everybody else was just Gear 8."V

Just to show many ways to skin a cat... I was Ezra g9, rest g8.Omega all uniques, omega Ezra basic. Ezra was fastest (208), Hera next at 188.Potency of about 57% on zeb. Tons of extra health/protection on zeb/kanan/chopper Took like 50 times, but at time 49 I changed some mods around to increase here's survivability and give kanan another +23% protection mod and all 5 were still standingTaunt dispel then forget about that character, dispel death troopers and kill as fast as possible. Some strategies rely on stunning thrawn, but I decided to avoid trying too hard cause I found I just ended up wasting attacks that didn't do much, so that time I won it I basically just focused on the target. Erza's first unique is good to feed him turn meter, call zeb each time (I've heard people call Hera for the expose, but zeb daze and bonus protection for ezra/zeb is more important). I too didn't taunt much, but utilized his 2nd special for cleanse and protection whenever I could, and used chopper's 2nd special for dispel and turn meter whenever I could. Zeb I didn't stagger much until it was just thrawn (get him stunned then staggered), but again, kept the extra protection up whenever I could as well.

I did it with g8 using Sabine instead of chopper. I put +88 speed and some potency on zeb, then about fifty or sixty speed on the rest. I had all the omegas except kanan’s basic and zeb’s special. Called Zeb for all the assists, to spread daze/stun. Kill order: deathtroopers, stormtrooper commanders, stormtrooper, Thrawn. It took me a few hours, but eventually I beat it (I even got a three star victory).

NIIIIIIICE!

Done it, thank you all...with a combination of your great advice and my white-knuckle blagging it lol!

5th attempt but second with Arena mods. Basically loads of speed and potency on Zeb, health and defence on Kanan, load of health and speed on Hera, then as many crits and speed on Ezra and Sabine as I could.

Had a lot of bad luck the first post-modding attempt, better luck the second time. I got through losing only Hera.

Ok, so I'll take you up on your suggestion that you didn't make lol...what are such possibilities? Vader/Thrawn/Palp-led Empire squad presumably? Does he go in an Imp Trooper squad too? Thanks.

He is such a flexible toon and fits well into most meta squads, I use him in my FO arena team for example. I wouldn’t use him in a pure trooper squad though, better off with veers/troopers there. But in other empire squads absolutely and in mix squads where you want some tm control (fracture key opponents or swap tm with and ally cleanse/regen protection).

Good stuff, thank you. I've had him 6* for a while and always found him useful, but I guess I've been focusing on Rebel and FO teams. I'm gonna have a play...and take your advice re. pure Imp Trooper squad.
