No. Just no. Don't stop gearing them at G8 or G9. YOU NEED THEM FOR SHIPS!!!!!! The higher their gear the better their ships perform.
You don't need them for ships. You need their ships for Thrawn's ship. Big difference. And everyone says the Chim event is not that hard.
I have no intention of taking any of them past G8. I want the Chim but I have no use for their ships in fleet arena.
