Best utilisation of g12 pieces?

I've read that putting g12 pieces on pilots gets biggest bang for your buck...

with that in mind I have the following options:

equip 2 pieces on Tarkin to give executrix 2 more speed - great for my fleet arena but have less use for tarkin as a character himself
give thrawn another piece - gives chimaera 1 more speed and i use thrawn in arena still and other game modes
give one piece to vader - boosts tie advanced speed by 1 - may be handy in fleet
give them to my jedi (ezra and gmy) in prep for my new arena team

decisions....?

    Is your fleet competing for crystals and funding your progression? If so it might be worth it, but only if that speed bumps you faster then your competition if it ties them or you are already ahead it may not be worth it. If your fleet isn't in the crystals, or the upgrades won't really help you maintain your spot go squad arena. GMY and ezra have great g12 pieces that work on their weaknesses to make them alot better in arena.

    I can get number 1 spot in arena about 70% of the time and do come up against Executrix's that have same speed as me - so would be beneficial to increase the ease of getting to no.1 - my concern is am I going to switch to chimaera eventually - have heard mixed reviews on which is the better ship

    Ok, yeah if it can give you a better shot at 1 I'd go fleet. As for which? I don't know. When i was using the biggs tfp, vader setup i used chimera, but i lost to tarkin lead teams alot more then chimera lead teams. I'd personally use tarkin if i had his ship abilities leveled up that extra speed is huge.
