Boba (L) Droid/JE Team

There are some good threads on K2 separate from this one that are worth checking out. I think Dengar is pretty irrelevant now. TFP stole his most useful trick (tenacity down), but does it on basic rather than special.

K2 is still worth mentioning, considering he wasn't brought up at all in this thread, especially since the one thing missing from this team is a solid tank. Unless the OP is iOS.

TFP tenacity down is single target rather than AOE, and while he has higher DPS, Dengar has significantly better survivability. In a team without a solid tank, the survivability might be important. Also, Dengar gets bounty hunter synergy from Boba lead while TFP does not.

I think subbing STH for JE was a good call, but the first build (Boba (L), 88, TFP, Lando, STH) is now exceedingly light on synergy--whether droid or bounty hunter--and I'm wondering why Boba is the best lead for it. Wouldn't 88 be better?

If Boba must be lead, I'd stick with JE and build like this: Boba (L), 88, K2, 86/TFP/Zam/other DPS, JE.

Remember that detonators can crit.

I'm cringing right now :/ Spy's ship is extremely lackluster right now; really great idea for synergy with Maul and other Separatist ships, but he's slow, fragile, and only has mediocre damage outside of his one trick.

Yeah i´m iOS, so no K2 for me...
Will try something with Boba(L), JE, IG88, IG86 and some 5th character tomorrow...

Haven't tested it (not even sure how to test that ...), but I've been using JE for months and they definitely crit. Point is-- Boba's +crit damage should affect detonator crits, which ... well, BOOOOMM!!! Hmm ... maybe I'll make a boba-led jawa team for tank ...

Maybe Zam Wesell is the Key?

But not sure if they will be more viable then my current droid team

My last battle had Boba and TFP duelling Sun Fac and Baze. Setting up and using Boba's execute is a beautiful thing...
