In all seriousness, I think Chewbacca will be realeased - maybe not Rebel Chewie, but simply Chewbacca with tags similar to R2, certainly Smuggler/Scoundrel, Rebel and Resistance tags.

Perhaps this will also release the Rebellion era Millennium Falcon too - piloted by Han SOlo (from Pit raids) and Chewbacca.

That would be great. But I'm all for just being reworked and have tags added.

Agreed. He was quite useful back before auto-taunt. Put in a battle against a team that didn't have him and you could stun Biggs and take over the battle.

But now, yeah, he still uniquely goes first, but only to stun a character you're not worried about. Change his unique from stun to buff cleanse (or both) and now we're talking. He would go first and cleanse an auto taunt, leaving your second move to target whoever you want.

Why would you want more of that cancer in game? This is the problem with Chaze. It set the caliber so high, people have forgotten what balanced characters (Fulcrum for example) should look like.

I agree but since Chaze ain't going nowhere let's at least get more options.

Raid Han just needs to ignore taunt and he will be useful again

We don't need a reskinned Chaze. No more auto-taunt, learn from mistakes don't repeat them and hope they do better just because

Han and Chewie should be the real Chaze of this game. Pity

You guys are forgetting that Clone Wars Chewbacca is filling an important role. He's the first tank a new player gets and he's useful for quite a long time until you get Stormtrooper Han. Because you have him, you can delay getting Han until you've picked up a couple other Arena characters--giving you choices and options when you first start farming instead of having a Mandatory First Farm. These are valuable roles.

There should definitely be a new Chewbacca, but it doesn't have to replace the current one any more than Raid Han replaced Stormtrooper Han or Fulcrum Asohka replaced regular Asohka.

(Also, if you actually invest in him he's great with Leia and Ackbar. He's tough as nails and self-heals like crazy, but more importantly he has two short cooldown non-attack abilities and he isn't a Rebel, so he'll trigger Ackbar's leadership ability two out of every three turns, and he'll never be called to attack when someone else triggers it.)
