Bug? Darth Revan strikes first and is death marked?

Team: DR, FBAST, DM, ST, HK47 Facing same team in Arena, my DR has more speed, attacks and is deathmarked? Leader skills says ENEMY that loses 50% health is deathmarked. What am I missing?
