Building a new team: focus on one or spread the love?

What do you guys do? Is it best to do a piece of gear for one, then another, and keep spreading it out so they all gear up at the same time or just focus on one guy and get him maxed before moving on?...

Awesome thanks guys. I was planning on running sthan, lando, boba, wedge, and Biggs for arena, but I haven't seen them in the meta lately. So I was hoping to use that as long as possible until I can put together a sith team.

Ahsoka is pretty much just for yoda. Maybe I'll just drop her, daka, and Rey.
