Callous Conviction Zeta: Opinions

I did this zeta just to squeeze one last drop of speed out of my Executrix. I'm weird though.

I put a zeta on Callous Conviction and don't regret it. I run the same arena team as OP. Finish top 50 in arena everyday and 1st in fleet. The speed makes a big difference for me on the executrix. In arena its not a game changer, but I've got him at 110% potency and when you've got 5 debuffed enemies he doesn't take damage, especially if you've stacked with his basic. It also makes his aoe hit pretty hard. I've hit for over 20k on his aoe in arena. It can make or break a close match and is useful in both arenas so why not?

I have both zetas on him. Not the best, not the worst. Would take them off if I could.

TVF - Did it significantly affect your Executrix? I run that ship in Ship Arena and the zeta would be a contender if it had a decent impact.

It bumped my speed by 1, which maxes out the speed if you don't have access to the new G12 pieces. Allows my Executrix to always go first against slower Executrix and coin-flip those with the same speed.

I can't speak to the rest of the impact though. I think zeta impacts are fairly minor in general. For that reason I'm not giving him the leader zeta as well. It won't add to his speed anyway.

I did this too. Did the same thing for Thrawn. Having the other cap ship faster than yours is a recipe for failure. It's the only way to really stay competitive at the top end of fleet.

Fyi: my double zetad 7* g11 tarkin capital & 7* g12 zzthrawn are slower than my 7* g12 (1 piece) Ackbar capital. Don't know about your shards but Ackbar slowly taking over.

The second zeta on Tarkin did not increase speed of the Capital ship. In my shard I checked all Executrix fleets and Tarkins and found out that they all have the same speed, one zeta or two does not matter. And I dont think this is ok given that Ackbar is faster and Thrawns ship has a shorter cooldown for the ultimate ability.

But other than the zeta is not bad if you mod Tarkin for potency. I use him in TB, TW and fleet arena. But there a better toons available for squad arena in my opinion.
