Can Darth Nihilus lead compete in arena?

I'll work on Sith Assassin. Just geared up to G8 and lvl 85, so I'll make that my focus. I'm just so tired of CLS teams that I want a change. Interesting that neither of you use Zavage. Is a Chirrut or Rex going to be better with the cleanse/tenacity than Savage?

@Bigbearxba I just got Thrawn to G11, so I was trying CLS (L), R2, Thrawn, Nihilus, STHan (probably would've been better with Rex?) but it wasn't doing much better than my Ackbar, CLS, Leia, Han, R2 team...

Yeah, I think you might need GK or maybe Old Ben to replace STH for that to really work. But that Ackbar team can be really good. We only have one in the top 50 in my shard but it’s top 10.

I didn't have a zeta on CLS or Solo, so I bet I would break top 100 with those...I just think Sith is more fun to play :)

Yeah, I loved playing Sith. It’s nice that I still get good use out of them in GW. I dunno, with zNihilus, SiT, SiA, Zavage and either Dooku or Maul (maybe Palpatine for the group stun) at max gear and mods you might be able to crack 100.

You can break into the top with a Nihilus lead but you will be targeted as an easy win(which Nihilus leads are). You have a danger of falling farther with him I would think.

@Dryff I tried it with savage. Don't have the zeta. But he doesn't do his job better than Chirrut does. And the health equalizing from Chirrut is really helpful. Let sith trooper get pummelled down to 20% health, then heal, and he is back up to 85% health and they have to kill him again lol. It works for me, but Chirrut is really squishy. When I get gk I'm going to replace Chirrut with him and run 2 tanks. Trooper and gk

I run zzdn lead g12, zooku g11, zid g12, zavage g10, and Palp g11. Used to be 30. Dropped about 100 spots within a week of CLS coming out. With upgraded gear I can now hold barely in top 100. Might have a tough shard, but that’s my experience. I’ll be moving back to rebels once I get CLS on the next go around. I love the Sith team with dN lead but you just can’t argue with CLS. Was farming trooper to replace zid, but had to focus on Old Ben and still am. Trooper over zid would be a nice upgrade but honestly I’m not sure it’s worth the effort. If Nightsisters take hold I might keep with Sith because they seem to be a good counter. I’ve only faced a couple NS teams so far but they haven’t given me the problems CLS leads do

I use Nihilus, Vader, Dooku, EP and SiT in arena. I hover around the 25 - 50 rank.

Nihilus zeta for 150% health steal is essential and I am glad I chose it. I plan to zeta his unique too as the health down will make it easier to kill the tank heavy rebels.

Dooku zeta just isnt that appealing to me.

Like every team, they have strengths and weaknesses. Most of the time I win, sometimes I lose. If you want to reach no.1 in arena I would choose another team.

But, Nihilus lead is pretty decent in arena and is essential for getting through GW with full health.

Only a matter of time until new siths added to the game too.
