I don't think it's fair to call them crybaby as it's a legitimate complaint. If you bought a car because you knew it could top speed at 150, then 3 months later they speed limited it to 100 you'd be pretty **** off.

That's a little disingenuous. It's more like if you bought a car because you knew you could move a spark plug and make it go 150 miles an hour (obviously I don't know how cars work, let's not get bogged down in details :P ) and then the dealership issued a mandatory recall to correct that defect.
People very frequently take advantage of unintended game interactions, then cry foul when that interaction is fixed.
Enfys IS intended to work this way, though. People are just panicking because it means they have to actually do something to stop her instead of continuing with their current route. So, to continue your 150mph car analogy, it's more like people are upset that they have to allow other players to merge like a zipper.
