There's no way to correlate this. The older the shard is, the more people that will have quit.
And we all know it's the best players that quit ,therefore making old shards easy ;).

Auto Arena 4 Life! But I’ve never been a big fan of the mode and rarely play it other than the two dailies and a little more recently to get the 20 Qui-Gon wins needed for the Jedi Master title (which required a temporary switch to ‘Team Ugnaught’ to lose enough rank for that to work). Closest I ever got to the top was around 20 just after Jedi Revan’s release.
