Cant beat Empire...

I run a JTR team. BB-8 leads off, then R2, and then Rey does her mind trick on Vader. This hits him with ability block, daze, speed down, and offense down for two turns, and also removes 40-80% turn meter depending on what he resisted (unless he has the zeta that grants immunity to TM removal). This gets things going in my favor from the start, and it usually doesn’t take long to win.

There is no defeating the Empire. Join or die.

On a side note:

Don't forget to get Thrawn to 7*. I see your Phoenix team is all 7*, but your Thrawn is only 5*.

Rex lead works quite well against empire, f.ex. Rex, Thrawn, MT and then EP (or another attacker) and a taunting tank.

Rex lead is just what the doctor ordered.I use a Rex lead team and does its job quite good.While most of the guys here say "always aim for Vader first with your Raid Han" i suggest not to.I found that aiming first for Thrawn is the best way to go.I always win using this strategy and i use the same team : Rex,Palp,Raid Han,GK and CLS.

I got him I just haven't spent the 1.5M credits upgrading him.

Yeah that team seems great, My Rex is 6*, I just didn't want to gear up all those characters yet, maybe when I have GK I'll switch to that team since my next zeta is Talzin unique.

I went with Talia in the end, it's working well vs Empire but now I lose to CLS teams... can't win :D lol

I run a pure NS team under zVentress lead - Thrawn is obviously very powerful but would be missing out on Talia's NS synergy.

If I had a geared Thrawn would love to test it
