Possibly: Executrix hits a TL enemy with Vader in the field. I don’t know if that’s how it’s supposed to work, but I feel like I’ve see that work against me before where an enemy Chimaera with less speed than mine took turns faster with no Tie Fighter/Reaper on the field. I’d have to do some research to be certain though.

Then you probably just lost the coin flip. I’ve seen this work for/against me several times. If you want a way to fix it, reinforce Reaper and make sure someone dies before it’s ultimate time. Despite the nerf to amount, his TMR is now irresistible and will guarantee you go first on all subsequent turns in mirror matches.
Note: just tested Vader out, doesn’t seem to give TM to capital ship.
