Captain han solo effectiveness

Despite no longer being a tb required toon just how effective is captain han? Sure he's got double damage on his basic against empire targets and healing/revival skills but is he worth the work?

Funny, in what world does Han Solo heal revive. All because of the Hoth /Luke in the snow scene...

Well yes, exactly. He's a snapshot of Han Solo from the first 20 minutes (or whatever) of ESB. He was also presumably designed with TB in mind, along with the Hoth Bros and ROLO. They needed a support character.
  • If you already have him maybe on a B tier scoundrel team for GA but overall no
  • There is one special event where your playing rebels vs Empire and in the final phase of the mythic difficulty (G12 recommended) your up against a team where Vader has the Zeta leadership so his DOT sticks for the whole fight. When he has a DOT on him, CHS's heal is available every turn and makes that event much more doable prior to unlocking Chewbacca and C3P0, which make the mythic event a cake walk. Other than that Prior to Chewbacca and C3PO release the other strategy to get by with gear 10/11 rebals was Jyn's Zeta Leadership.

TLDR - he is only useful situationally if you don't have over powered rebel teams with Chewbacca and C3PO, or when facing off vs a Zeta Vader lead / team that does a lot of damage over time.

  • Whatever, for the game, he's a support/healer that can dispell, with ok damage (good damage against empire).
For the rebel there are better choices, for scoundrels his abilities are valuable but scoundrels lack 2nd or 3rd good leaders other than Qi'ra, he may end up in a team with old, meh-ish leader and lots of himself (or his partner in crime) from different time.

Tldr, he's not bad, but unless you want max team slots (TW and GA dont need that many teams most of the time), you can just pass this guy, especially he's not needed for TB anymore.

...or use Chirrut to either prevent the dots with tenacity up or turn them into hots.
