Captain Phasma and general speed issue
I am really fed up with this game. Several times wanting to stop, because this game doesnt make much sense.
One example, Cap Phasma. I had him as leader when the game came out - was really happy that I get a bonus attack once in a while (even with Kylo as a First Order), as the % is supposed to be low, even as doubled. I had him maxed gear and abilities, then faces off vs AI, and basically, AI gets 2-4 bonus attacks in one round, despite not even being First Order. And when it is my turn, you guessed it. The Cap Phasma I face off, often is just 5 stars or so. Same thing in Arena or Galaxy.
The same problem is when I face Poe, and i have a full-max Poe, while the other team has a 5 star Poe, with identical roster/leader in squad. Seems my Poe gets killed in one round, while I struggle to even finish a 5star Poe in 2 rounds. Same roster, same leader. What's worse, the 5 star Poe gets turn ahead of my 7 star Poe. Someone please explain me the logic here...
Just appears to me that the effort of maxing your players to 7 stars seems not worth the hassle, when I face identical roster not nearly maxed, and have problem killing just one guy (max abilities), and computer AI gets insane crit and bonus attacks with being lowered stars.
If someone still wants to debate and say that we should learn how to play...LOL. I have Darth Sid (who doesnt) maxed. Mine always gets resisted (healing cancellation), while the lower star Darth I face, gets non-stop bonus attack off Cap Phasma (really? At 16% chance??) and gets his healing cancellation on my guys in one turn. 3 guys. Basically nullifying my healer. In one turn, I am half crippled. Most of the time, one guy gets one shot at green bar and dies, and it's a uphill battle with little chance....against a not even maxed star lineup.
Call me stupid, but if the other team's turn meter is ahead and gets multiple rounds off, despite identical roster with much less stars....it just means the game is designed stupid. This turn meter thing is a mess.
For example Poe. When Poe gets his taunt off, while the other team's turn meter bar is nearly full, he deducts those bars - which is like a sacrifice, coz Poe will die in the next round most likely (unless as explained above, he is a 5star one, lol). That's his use. So if the 5 star Poe gets to use taunt first in the very beginning pf round 1, it is so much more significant, coz the other team's turn meter (hasnt move) is nearly full and gets deducted big time. So now, the 5 star Poe used his taunt, his team is getting his attacks off, and if he has Cap Phasma, he slows or kill the other team's (mine) turn meter, and tata, 5 star Poe with 5 star crab team gets two rounds. God forgid, that team has 5 star Daka, who stuns 2 of your guys.... So non stop bonus effects by that 5 stat team, and here, I am looking at my 7 star identical lineup getting raped...
