Just checked and "Intercept Communications" certainly does not trigger Ackbar's basic assist. Neither does "Spotter" though he does get a targeted assist so I'm not sure if Ackbar would assist there (technically it's an attack, just not from Bodi).
Perhaps we should flag it to the devs. Might pop @CG_Kozispoon a message...
