It is not worth it. You waste gear and zetas much better placed elsewhere.
It might have been a good trick when R1 was new, but almost all toons released after that point would walk over that team.

This...so much this. Stormtrooper Han's zeta is better than K2's and it is still pretty weak.

K2SO is a good tank. I focus on
Tenacity 70%
Defense% and defense to around 45% Armor
Crit% to around 40% with CD triangle
Protection the rest.
Led behind my crummy ROLO b team and every one else crit toons. It's sort of a GA cleanup team. Other than that I see no use for K2SO. I want him to protect my other rebel glass canons with his taunt and when he counters I want it to be a bit painful.

That's how I roll with him. Usually by the time he dies I've taken out 2 opponents and Leia is stealthed.

@joelgs23 were you thinking about Cassian zeta? It buffs K2SO at start of match a lot. It's best with Jyn lead zeta and chaze.
