Cody and plo koon

Has any one tried Cody L, 3 clones and plo koon, The defense buff for Cody and plo koon's defense buff should give Cody 100+ armor. Does this work or am I wrong?

Dosent work like that it dosent compound with existing defense. Only on top of base. Eg. Plo defense up gives same value as just running a 4th clone
