But recovering protection is irrelevant if you haven't really lost any protection because you're not the target. Moreover, recovering even 10% protection is going to be not super relevant against high damage teams. Let's say he has 50k protection. 10% is 5k. Biggs crits for 13k, Wedge for 25-30k. Recovering 5k isn't going to keep him alive forever, just an extra turn, maybe.
I'm not saying he's going to be a 1 vs 5 MVP. He'll just be good at 1 vs 2s
