- The only thing really bad is the rng of data disks, I have the same ones over and over again. And also never get a purple one. I pray to rngesus so hard, but he won't hear me.

If cooldown disks were the only reason why you could do well in conquests, you don't deserve top rewards.
Wait, what logic makes this true? It's 1 of those statements that sounds good, but I see no logic that would support a purposeful mechanic intended to give a user success, as being a source of dis-entitlement of top rewards for such success.
You might as well say, "If mods were the only reason you're taking 1st in arena then you didn't deserve the 400 crystals.""Mephisto_style;c-2262724" wrote:

Because the DCS disc was completely broken making the whole thing trivial. Data discs are supposed to help players complete conquest, not make it an auto pilot with Vader, GMY, etc."NicWester;c-2262689" wrote:
How do you not have a single Galactic Legend?
I'm practically free to play (we'll argue the semantics if you want, but I don't think buying the Hyperdrive bundle after playing since early 2016 gave me much of an edge beyond not seeing that notification all the time) and I'm maybe two weeks from finishing the pre-reqs for my second.
You've got to get on that stuff, man. It's like refusing to wear flip flops at the beach and then complaining that GC is making the sand too hot.
Some people took time off (like myself) and are perpetually behind due to it. I am 2 months out from Rey, and that is only if I stop dropping gear on Malak and DR. Without being able to take top 20 in fleet or arena, sparse crystal income keeps users back. If Grand Arena paid out better, I'd be game, but as it stands I tend to only out-mod my opponents. I will admit though, I would have Rey already had I choose not to get GAS."Mephisto_style;c-2262730" wrote:

Anyone that takes time off loses the ability to complain about not having any certain toon. You don't have the right to something just because you stopped playing for a while."Mephisto_style;c-2262724" wrote:

That's not really a direct comparison. Mods dont reset.
The logic seems to be that is you needed that particular thing as " the only way" to do it, then you dont deserve the current rewards (not the past ones)."TVF;c-2262731" wrote:

You are correct. Read what I replied to. I neither complained or declared I had a right. He asked how a 2016 account could not have a GL. I answered. For me it's math. 2021 - 2016 - 1.5 = 3.5 years of playtime. I imagine my situation is a nice double-digit % of this gaming community. I would bet that over 50% of 5 year SWGOH players still dont have a GL.
@Kyno , any data source that could answer that bet?"Mephisto_style;c-2262738" wrote:

Any 5yr player without a GL doesn't have time to be on the forums...they should be farming.- crzydroid4 years agoRetired Hero

I started in 2016, took an 8-month break last year, have decided to only join guilds for about one event a month since coming back, and I have a GL. After getting said GL, then finally completing GAS, I gave myself a little planned six-week break in the Spring. I'm planning on going after my second GL soon. Basically waiting for the last set of Kenobi requirements before I equip more gear. "Kyno;c-2262646" wrote:

removal of Disks(cooling systems) which zerg the emeny big time cant even get a turn in on the T2 boss with a maxed Luke team, padme team or DR team. they changed it big time, last time i got 2nd to last Chest now i cant even beat T2 boss?
The changes are for everyone, so that doesnt mean anything was targeted at F2P.
it Absolutely targeted F2P. but your CG's paid Shill, like your going to admit it.
Volunteers get paid?
No f2p owns a GL?
Where do you get this stuff?
This.
Care to point out how this targets F2P? Do players who paid get a different game mode?
Also how is removing a data disc that are randomly selected target anyone? Couldn't you have done this run and had the same options you did this round even if it was present?
The error being made by some people is equating “end game roster” with “p2p”.
If the argument made was “this change affects mid-roster players more than end-game rosters”, I’d agree with that.
End game rosters have more viable options to get through those teams whereas mid rosters have limited options and probably dis-proportionately relied on some of those data discs to progress.
End of the day, that was really probably the intent behind the change. They saw the metrics that showed that players were doing much better than they had tuned the event for, realized that the discs were the reason, and changed them to close the “loophole” created by the discs.
As someone else said above, the “broken” part was the first few conquests that had these discs active in them.
It’s a matter of perspective, and the developers perspective will always trump all others.
