Counter Attack Squad

Really want to build a ridiculous counter attack team to run but im trying to figure out whats the best team to get. my two automatic characters are dooku and fives as they have 100 counter but dont know who my next 3 should be. was thinking of making gun di my leader and run him with lumi and jedi counsler so i could get the counter attacks from his leader ability with my jedi then the two jedi are also healers as well. not sure what to do any help would be appreciated.
  • ima gun di, luminara, barriss or consular, dooku and fives is a lot of fun. i randomly drew ima gun di on a free pack real early into the game for me and that team got me through almost all the pve content the first time through. it fell off when i couldnt keep up with ima gun di shards, i am only just now closing in on 5* since he only has 1 hard missions you can farm. I still use the team on AoE heavy opponents
  • whats actually more fun, for me in pve, is phasma leader with dooku, fives, sidious, and barriss. so many extra attacks, counter attacks, and random heals, heal immunities, stuns, and ability blocks
  • I had all 5 Jedi in a counter attack team in GW counter on my Sidious. I couldn't stop laughing
  • if you can star up aayla and ahsoka to 5*, pair them with fives and luminara/barriss and ima gun di leader, that would probably be my ideal. aayla and ahsoka have healing abilities to compliment luminara or barriss and fives can just take a nice hit. i swerved this convo into extra attacks accidentally but the original question was counter attacks
  • IGD (L), Aayla, JKA, QGJ (for the dispel), and then either Kit or 5's. Dooku is a too squishy for this squad since it doesn't have a taunt.

  • I have created my own personal version of a counter attack squad that may not be the best but is pretty damn strong:

    Ima Gun-Di; lead, self heal, defense boost (+35% Counter Chance)

    Aayla Secura; self heal, stuns, 65% (+35% Counter Chance)

    Kannan Jarrus; tank/taunt, self heal (when debuffed), protection recovery, 65% (+35% Counter Chance)

    Count Dooku; protection recovery (with zeta), stuns/shock, 100% Counter Chance

    Gar Saxon; offensive, speed down, 100% chance to assist

    My team obviously has its weaknesses (Stun, shock, daze) as do all counter attack teams but load them all with a few tenacity mods (excluding Kannan), give Gar a good set of offensive mods and watch him take out any character. Kannan's counter inflicting offense down is also quite the plus considering Gar matches it with a speed down. I have found this team to be extremely annoying in Arena and pretty solid on defense considering they rely on being hit in order to counter. One last plus, anytime an enemy uses an AOE attack, certain death is imminent.
