- Yes they are underrated. They can keep toons like GMY at bay with all that damage he normally crits for.

@mlb1399 those are some examples that work yes, but I was reading the OP's post as "should I put crit avoidance arrows on my bh to beat chewie," and the answer is probably no. There are certainly characters that benefit from a CA arrow, but they do not make up a large chunk of the game. This makes a CA arrow powerful, but still niche.
I hear you. At the same time, those are the details that matter when you’re going up against TI, WW and MC in TW."Legend91;c-1791005" wrote:

CA mods, like Defence mods, are worthless to me.
Just like your arena ranks?
Arena to me is meh. If I wanted to get better I would have focused on a non-NS team long ago."MagicMatthews99;c-1792786" wrote:

In rare cases they seem to be useful, but the vast majority of teams in this game don't want to sit back and be patient. They are designed to get out and take control of the battle with turn meter manipulation or debuffs. To do this you need to take more turns to get your engine moving. So speed often wins in that situation
This is just wrong. KRu, Zal, Traya and many others need a CA arrow. It’s the most underrated primary in the game.
KrU with CA arrow is a terrific hard counter to carth OR and Vader team..sadly there arent many of them running around. "cannonfodder_iv;c-1793785" wrote:

They can be useful if they have high speed secondaries, but without that you’re giving up too much speed (30 with no secondaries) to have anything other than very niche applications.
This.
Also for the chewie event, the speed will suit you better than the crit avoidance
My experience was different for the Chewie event. Did it on three different account with zBossk leads. First account (and run of the event) I used speed / protection sets and was at the mercy of the RNG gods. Other two accounts, with lower gear BH and generally less useful mods, I spread the crit avoidance arrows around and yielded a seven star Chewie in two or three attempts.
Tenacity instead of protection on Bossk also helped remove some of the randomness since he was less likely to get stunned and more likely to be able to do something on his first turn.
This has been exactly what I was thinking for the longest
