Are regular energy and mod energy the way to go? (Cantina always depletes too fast)

- they key is not to focus on which energy you spend on, but rather to make a plan and execute it.
farming what is need/want, is always necessary. doing it smart to never exceed your income is how you manage that.
take your income and split it up into a plan that leaves you some extra. - Regular energy refreshes are cheaper however you also have to pay to refresh the node every 5 attempts.
Mod energy refreshes can be good value, it depends what you need.
