Damage calculation - Ship FOTP

Basic multipler is 1.92
Special multiplier is 3.725

Basic only does more damage of he double taps. That is a 45% chance

Higher chance to do more damage. When you have other ships that sustain TL well enough, you don't need to concentrate on that with your FOTP. It's prime objective is to do damage.

The secondary attack does quite a bit more damage

If the other team has a ship with counter, you’re FOTP, if he were to attack twice on his basic, would be countered twice.

But yes, especially if you’re running Biggs, it can be worth it to use his basic over his special. It’s circumstantial.

I just use his basic. His special is s cool animation but it’s pretty dumb combat wise

If you have Biggs, use basic, if not, special do much more damage up to 95k with attack increase.

Why do you say that one attack does more damage than the other??? Both descriptions are saying the same: Deal PHYSICAL damage to target... Because of the 2nd Attack Chance on Basic I should only use this one (except for countering opponents)

Do you really think basic hits harder?
1. It doesn't ALWAYS hit twice, and if it only hits once, it is less than its special.
2. Even when it hits twice, it has about the same amount of damage as that of 1 special hit.



Use basic when your Biggs is alive. When he's gone, use special.

Also 'PHYSICAL damage' in description does not imply a certain amount of damage it will do. It's just one of the two types of damage. If a character has 2 abilities which both deals PHYSICAL damage, do the two abilities hit the same? Well if so, why do I always see CLS's special dealing about twice more damage than his basic?
