Definition of “ally”
I’ve forgotten this mechanic, so please forgive and indulge me. GMY’s Battle Meditation grants himself 10% TM for each living Jedi ally. Is GMY considered an ally? Does he get +40% or +50%?

Well it reads "each other living jedi" so that's excluding himself. With the zeta on, he's getting a total of 75% tm. So 40% extra.
If it read, "each living jedi" then yes he would be considered an ally but not in the text in battle meditation.
