I run a zeta'd savage under a Palpatine lead. He synergizes well with Palpatine, as he gains 20% health back when he applies offense down. This means, between the Palpatine gains and Heal over Time buffs, he heals back to full health on almost every turn, even if he is almost dead. He also has a 20% health steal anyway, making him pretty hard to take down.
