Do I need Darth Revan?

Question

I'm behind on farming for Darth Revan. Looking like ~$120 to get the chars up to 7*. If the point is to counter Revan I'm doing that pretty consistently with my Traya team. I also have a Revan team myself...

Not sure what to do. FOMO. Fear is that DR will be like JR and there won't be a viable alternative to him.

Also if you’re not a big fan of him you don’t have to farm. I could care less about the Old Republic stuff so I haven’t bothered with them much tbh

I'm no expert, but If he's anything like JKR you don't want to wait until the 2nd time around, 3 months after he's controlling the meta.

We're probably going to get Clone Wars content and Episode IX content later this year - laser focus on what you WANT, not on the "flavor of the month". Personally I'm avoiding Darth Revan and focusing on Separatists, Bounty Hunters (and Chewbacca) and anticipating Knights of Ren this winter.

I get everything the second time. Let the whales cut their teeth on a brand new journey event, find out exactly how difficult it is, and post gear recommendations and strategy guides. That way you know exactly how to prepare for the next event and you have plenty of time to do so.
