R2 was meant to counter dodges not Thrawn. R2 with his burning. Thrawn was added as a cleanser for The Empire.

You need moar potency. Use tarkin. He has potency up!

or Kit Fisto because he made potency cool first.

I feel like crit damage mods would help with this too.

Potency only affects if it is a hit. Accuracy Is what affects dodges.

Two checks for 100% chance debuffs;
first to see if the hit is successful check is accuracy vs dodge stats
Second to see if debuff is resisted check is potency vs tenacity stats

Three checks for less than hundred percent chance debuffs, second check becomes RNG check to see if debuff is even applied , 3rd check is potency vs tenacity to see if it is resisted (you will see resisted when that fails)

To increase accuracy, use arrow accuracy mods and R2 (passive increase of accuracy by 10%) combined is 22% accuracy

max dodge in game is 20% provided by zeta DM and 2% base on all toons. So 22% accuracy should hit most of the times.

R2 was pretty much custom designed to hose the Maul led dodge meta. Rex lead triple cleanse demolishes them, but is likely out of reach. B2 is amazing since he wipes and keeps Sith from stealthing. Thrawn lead helps you not care if they dodge since you're getting protection back constantly.

It's annoying to face, certainly, and more so because of the RNG nature can lead to losses in matches you felt were under control. There are solutions though, fairly easily farmable ones at that(B2 & Rex mostly).

Accuracy mods is not a realistic solution since it's only found on the arrow, and I can think of exactly 1 character I'd trade 30 speed for a 10% better chance to hit.

I know of 2 toons I would rather have other stats than speed on...B2 and Baze.
