Does Jawa Engineer need special damage?

Hi there,


My JE is gear 11, and I could give him a 'MK 8 Neuro-Saav Electrobinoculars' which provides a +120 Special damage.

Now my question, does Jawa engineer even uses this 'Special damage'? His miniaturized Detonator deals damage, as you can find in the description.

Thx for letting me know, cause then I might give this peace of gear to someone who actually uses special damage lol xD

    Yes. With a recent update Special damage and physcial damage add potency to his detonator application.

    All Thermal Detonator abilities now gain bonus potency based on the Damage stats of the character.


    Based on the mechanics section of swgoh.gg bonus potency is PD*.02% + SD*.02%

    not a lot but is definitely used now

    I will hold on to these beautiful binoculars and give them to good old EP. Maybe he sees a bit better with them :p
