When you get mods on Dooku he can counter every time for 5k-16k damage. His secondary leadership (OU) is not quite as good as Ben's (TM gain) but he is superior to Ben in every other way but health/protection, not that anyone will ever bother to kill Old Ben before last anyway.
He does far more damage, he attacks more often, he counters 100% of the time, and he can stun. He also decimates Jedi (Anakin/QGJ). Everything in his kit is not just useful, but powerful.
