Double Drop rates(so far, Vet Han included) (MERGE)

Same situation for me today, chewie has a much better drop rate! I saved up 750 in cantina energy for today and then did 3 refreshes so ive gotten about 20 chewie to 2 han shards and then I did a run on kylo (got 20 between his 2 shards)

30% as always anywhere

Well yeah, I'm assuming 7* is needed so I'll have no shot. But I guess I'm just aiming for 5* on the small chance that Rey unlocks at 5* instead of 7*.

For some reason I can't update my first post(I assume it's because it has been edited by a mod), so I'll just share the second day results.

Vet Chewie - A little over 600 energy - 26 shards.
FOST - about 60-70 sims - 40 shards.

Hero's Journey type of event requires 7* characters just like Luke. Han and Chewie are present in the final moments of the movie, including one of the most important scenes(the death of Han), so at the very least Han will be in one of the final tiers - which means he will surely be needed at 7*. There's a slight possibility that Chewie could only be needed at 6* but it's unlikely.

Tomorrow a new toon will be introduced - Unconscious Finn. You'll have one week to farm him to 7* from a single 20 energy hard node before the event runs. Good luck!

Everything that has a double drop is showing it as bonus drop with it either g highlighted. Today when farming shards the highlighted mark on the shards have stopped showing up. So I'm wondering if I'm getting my bonus shards now

Can we have double drops on Bronziums as well? Next time maybe?

If the event is still active for you (should be, since it lasts two days) then you're still getting the double drops. It might just be a UI bug. Shows up for me, anyway.

She'll for sure unlock at 7, that's what Hero characters do.

But I'm going to 5* for now with the expectation that they'll be needed for the event, but won't be needed at 7*. It just doesn't make sense to require them that high--Han's death is part of Kylo Ren's journey into darkness, not Rey's Hero's Journey. But we'll see.
