Ok here is my question... I have vader and the emperor at relic 7 right now and am working towards bringing revan badstilla and Malak up to r7 to make a good arena squad prior to making a run for slkr...

Forgot to mention how high said squad was as of now... badstilla is at relic 5 almost 6 and revan is about g9 I believe... Malak I have finished the ls event and have revan left to move up to the 17500... hk is event ready but no more and my marauder will have a lot of work also lol.
Dude, all the toons you mentioned are unnecessary at R7. It's not that they don't have benefits from higher level. They just don't need the extra levels to do their jobs
