Droid Event Requirements

As we've just announced this event will be returning in the new year, it's time to share that it's had a few tweaks and updates:
Requires: Droids
7 Tiers, including a Bonus Tier
Now possible to obtain any Jawa shard (roughly equal chance at any of the 5)
No longer costs energy to play
Difficulty re-balanced to accommodate mods for tiers above level 60
Each tier has 3 encounters, up from 1
First event to use our new "style guide" for Event descriptions/naming
Tiers 1-6 only require a minimum of 3 droids, while the bonus tier (7) requires a minimum of 5.
Overall you will see an event that is more polished, rewarding, and at the upper tiers slightly more challenging. We hope you enjoy this event!

i think its any star level... i dont remember restrictions on stars

I honestly don't remember anything about this event. Has it run once or twice? I think the first time I didn't meet the requirements, and maybe not even the second?

Although now I have all five Jawas at 7 stars, so... Well, hey, if it gives credits and/or gear, I'm in.

Add this to the sucks to be on iOS list...5 droids - I would be fine if I had a nice shiny 7 star K2SO...
I have the typical three (HK47 Ig88 Ig86) plus B2 and an unleveled ungeared magnaguard we'll see how they do...

God, shut up about the K2-SO thing. This event's been around for over (minimum) 6 months. If you didn't get a fifth droid by now that's on you.

God, don't tell anyone to shut up, they have a right to complain about what's irking them. Why is it not ok to complain about a legitimate unfair advantage but ok for you to complain about complainers?

They took down the thread about it and didn't respond to any of the complaints.

I have 5 droids, but my magnaguard is not developed as well. It's not just the droid event - as an iOS user, now that I'm seeing 7 star k2 in tournaments, it bothers me. The new ship that requires him as crew is really irritating as well. Not cool. Neither is telling people to shut up... grow up.

its ran twice now, (three when this one launches) and it does give a little bit of credits but not much... https://swgoh.gg/db/events/droids-fight-back/

while the K-2S0 thing does urk me, this event was here a while back and should have worked on a few droids for it. but you could be newer and and here the last time so i recommend this page https://swgoh.gg/db/events/ to see old events and have an idea for what you need if any come back.


As for K-2SO, google paid for android to have the event, apple didn't so they didn't get an exclusive character. i heard Cassian was going to be for IOS but apple didn't take the deal so they made him into a tournament character. (don't know if this is true but seems likely since his and Jyns tournaments were so close together)

@flux_rono thanks for answer! Full and informative. Still don't have my jawas squad. I will go with droids working on 5th at this moment. Maybe, but maybe I can beat bonus tier.

last time we can use Empire as i remember , now only droid.

so some player have a free 7 star droid for this event, we don't
