droids team still good?

Currently, no, droids are not performing well.

Droids are due for a rework, though, and I don't think you are wasting your time.

I remember seeing a droid team hit top 50 not too long ago with:
HK(L), R2, BB8, K2S0, and IG-88

This team was pretty good on offense, but when I saw the team and fought it on defense, it was pretty simple to do, as long as you can survive it’s first wave of attacks.

But then again... no team is good on defense, though, I would imagine you’d become a greater target simplely for using a different team

Otherwise, droids are pretty decent in raids still, but are slowly becoming obsolete, since there are better team combinations that have a higher dmg output.

Not top 50, but maybe 100-200

A lot of players recently started on Resistance teams, they will help you in Galactic War and get you around 100-150 in arena

I haven’t seen a droid team in the top 50 for almost a year.

No. Anything droids can do, Resistance can do better.

Although I still get top 20 everyday with an all droid team (HK, R2, 88, B2, BB-8) in an old shard against full gear 12 teams with CLS, I highly recommend you to use something else.

Top 100 should be possible if the speed is good, but that goes for most teams. Droids are relatively obsolete for now (unfortunately).
