Yeh, I'll research Luke a little more for g7 and above. I sincerely hope that I don't have to go that route as it will all be throwaway after...and I really need that gear for some other toons. I guess the alternative would be to settle with a 5* Palp and gear him all up, wait for next event and then try again with Wedge and who knows....Chirrut instead of AA for 6 or 7*.
