Empire Team

Farming ability aside I think Tarkin, Royal Guard, Vader, MagTroop, and I guess Snowtrooper. I really feel like Empire is missing one or two characters from really being good. Snowtrooper and Veers both get a nice speed boost from Tarkin and they both gain turn meter on an opponent toon's death, so potentially you could get a downhill snowball effect where they just build steam. RG's stun... Maybe. But then there's the whole farming thing, how do you get Tarkin and SnowTrooper up? LOL

Where is Darth Vader?

I have Moff, RG, Snowtrooper all at 7*. Vader at 5* and working on Magmatrooper. I basically only played this game for an Empire team. Can't wait to have it complete, but will leave Stormtrooper 'til last

yeah, I had vader listed in there as a lead, I figured that goes without saying. But GMT gives a big speed boost if he becomes farmable.

WHole lot of tanky, taunting AOE damage to add to Vaders own AOE and Culling blade, and teams could be beat down in a big hurry. Especially if Tarkin becomes farmable as the Lead with speed IMO

I've been working on an empire team as well...

Tarkin (L), RG, Vader and magma... I just swapped out my snowtrooper for the Tusken shaman and he has a really nice synergy and gives an empire team a solid healer option.

Even with my Vader and magma at only 5 stars this group can still compete in the top 10 on my server and does surprisingly well when I run them instead of the standard Dooku or QGJ lead team.

I think I may focus on this group initially with the upcoming level increase and combat changes and see how they fare.

Empire has one big problem.

They have a major counter - Yoda - if they can't debuff the other team it's all over for them

I want to run empire as well, but i don't see it ever happening :confused:

I have Snowtrooper at 58/85 to 6* just from Bronzium drops and I think once in GW.

I was meaning more on defense, anyone with Yoda would own an empire team.

I'm working on a team with Vader and RG at the core and some combination of storm trooper and Tark/Veers/Magma .. Maybe some day add Snow or the emperor.

The real prob with them other than Yoda is lack of actual damage. Need the DoT's to get back to be able to kill.

Edit: I like the double taunt concept with RG who can heal while the other taunt is being used so I like ST as the third team member. Talk and Veers seem best but their potency isn't great and neither is their damage. But they could be a turn meter nightmare, and if I can work Magma in there for sure

Have you tried Tarkin as lead? If speculation is accurate regarding the next meta you're pretty well setup.

I think Vader is better as lead. +27% offense is huge. And the chance to reduce turn meter on any attack? Awesome. Just check how many Empire units that have AOE attacks.
