Someone else posted their journey of farming and it's about a 33% hit rate. So let's say every 100 you get 33 shards. In 5 days you will have spent 1,250 crystals and gotten 33 shards.

Now this is misleading because I'm counting free energy too so let's just go with what you get for spending crystals. Let's again assume 2 refreshes so that's 12 attempts, but again you are spending for a node renew so I think you have to factor in using some free energy towards it so let's say 2 extra attempts a day account for this so the second node renew isn't a total waste.(You could also refresh again to fully use the renew but being economical here).

So in 1 day 14 attempts that cost you 250 crystals. Let's use even numbers here. In 7 days you would have made 98 attempts at a 33% hit rate that's roughly 32 shards. 7 days of spending 250 crystals a day is 1,750 crystals.

In one day you can spend 2,000 crystals and get 25 shards or in 7 days you can spend 1,750 and get 32 shards. (In both scenarios plus your free daily energy).

1st node refresh is 25, 2nd 50. So your math is off slightly, you would be paying 75 crystals on top of the energy refresh, not 50.
