In a nutshell. For a lot of shards Vader is running around during 240+ so to have a genuine shot of winning on offense your Foo needs to be around 270 to outspeed opponents vader. Not easy for a lot of people.
On defense you'll still almost definitely loose.. As do most teams anyway.
